Elk Grove, CA — On March 8, 2015 from 10:00am – 5:00pm the Healing Arts Festival, located at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center @ 6151 H St. in Sacramento, will be collecting donations for the Sacramento SPCA.
The Healing Arts Festival, a metaphysical and holistic show, broke away from the usual model of collecting admission at the door to collecting items for those in need. In 2014 the festival collected for both the Sacramento SPCA and the Sacramento Food Bank. With animals being such a favorite in their community, the producers of the festival, Sharon Sampsel and Prasanna Hankins, decided to support the Sacramento SPCA once more.
The March 8th festival is special in its effort to support pets and families. The SPCA mobile adoption van will be available from 9:00am – 12:00pm in the Scottish Rite Masonic Center parking lot. There is a wish list of donation items available on the Healing Arts Festival’s website (www.healingartsfestival.com/fundraising-community-support) to bring during the festival hours of 10:00am – 5:00pm. Financial gifts are also accepted. Anyone who brings a donation will receive a $5.00 discount coupon to use at one of the participating exhibitors during the event.
The Healing Arts Festival will have available animal communicators like Stacey Ferrell to be a medium between you and your pet or potential pet. Stacey has been communicating with animals for over 10 years and can aide people with information such as behavioral issues, physical, or emotional health.
