Darshan Yoga is a physical practice (asana) that is very similar to Tai Chi. The entire practice is about moving the body and synchronizing the movements with the breath. These movements begin in the head, to stimulate and awaken all the senses done in gentle fashion. The movements flow towards the neck, shoulders, hands, fingers, arms, spine and all the way down to the toes. After the practice, the body will feel energized, loose and nimble. Movements warm up the body, loosen joints and increase metabolism. The movements can also vary and become more vigorous as the yogi desires.
